Clarisse Crémer

Clarisse Crémer is a French sailor from Paris. Her 12th place in the 2020-2021 edition of the Vendée Globe, with a time of 87 days, 2 hours and 24 minutes, is the world record for a single-handed, non-stop, monohull circumnavigation by a woman.

She started her sailing career whilst at university and went on to finish 2nd in her first solo race, the 2017 Mini Transat. Moving onto the Figaro class and then joining her previous sailing team in 2018 to take on her first Vendée Globe in 2020.

Beyond her impressive accomplishments as a sailor, Clarisse embodies the values of determination, resilience, and equity.

As a skipper for the L'Occitane Sailing Team, Clarisse continues to inspire and lead by example. Her passion for the sport, coupled with her unwavering commitment to embracing equity, serves as an inspiration for aspiring sailors and enthusiasts worldwide.
